I like spending time outdoors walking and cycling. I enjoy the countryside, nature and environmental issues. Whilst working and studying I like to listen to music. I used to play clarinet and bassoon. I work out regularly to maintain my strength and flexibility. It also helps me think and be creative.

Terry tutored our son through his 11+ process. Terry's calm and engaging manner encouraged our son to challenge himself but most importantly to enjoy the sessions. I can only highly recommend Terry for his enthusiasm and drive to achieve the best for his students.
He's not ranked in the top 120 of all kids so not guaranteed a place at Marling but know that number includes all kids sitting the test. He's very pleased - and we are overjoyed. Thank you sooooooo much for all the tutoring!!!!! Emma
We've just had an email from Marling to say that he has made it into the top 120. He found the test quite hard, so we are so over the moon!!! Thank you so much for all your help & guidance over the last twelve months. Travis
'Thank you so much Terry for all the work you have done with Isaac. You made the sessions enjoyable for him which was a real bonus! We will let you know how he gets on. Thanks again from Ian + Gemma'
Dear Terry THANK YOU! For being an excellent tutor to me. THANK YOU! I will miss spending time with you from Isaac
One of my 11 plus students came back years later in Year 11 to improve her GCSE grades in Maths. In October of Year 11, her school were way behind teaching the Higher Tier syllabus. After coaching her for a couple of months I suggested that she took the Foundation Papers instead. This removed a lot of the pressure to complete the Higher Tier work in time. By working on the basics she was able to achieve a Grade 5 which was enough to go to sixth form college and not have to do a retake.
