Refund Policy

  • Tutors have up to 48 h prior to the start of a lesson to reschedule it to a future date. If they reschedule a lesson forward to a later date, the new date and time of the lesson needs to be at least 48h after the time the change is made.
  • If a tutor changes a lesson and one or more students are not able to attend at the new date and time, any of the students have the right to either request a refund or accept the changes. If any student(s) requests a refund, we will issue them a full refund, and we will charge tutors for the transaction fees we incurred, by deducting them from future payments due to them.
  • If a tutor fails to deliver a lesson and provided they could not agree with their students on rescheduling to a new date and time, we will charge them any transaction fees we incurred, by deducting them from any future payments due to them.
  • If a student failed to attend a lesson they already agreed to attend and already paid for, they will not be entitled to a refund.
  • If a student decides to opt out of a course while it’s still running, they will not be entitled to a refund.
  • The only scenario a student or group of students will be issued a refund after a lesson was delivered, is if the tutor shows any behaviour that violates our Terms of Use, or if their service was not properly rendered. In this case, upon being made aware of the situation, we will investigate the matter further and consider issuing a refund as we see fit.
