I have worked in the Fitness Industry for over thirty years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience teaching all types of Fitness, Pilates and Personal Training.
I have both an established Personal Training and Pilates Clientele completing sessions both online and in person and really enjoy the online teaching experience, it gives you a completely different perspective on a client. I did my Comprehensive Pilates training with the internationally recognised Polestar Pilates and work across all fields of Clinical and Rehabilitation Pilates (Mat Work and all Equipment).
I love the mind/body connection of Pilates and love to educate people on how to move their bodies in a more efficient way, understanding and simplifying movement for a better outcome and truly believe that knowledge is power when it comes to improving personal physical development.

Away from teaching, I love to swim and go to the gym and in the Winter I love nothing more than to visit the ski slopes.
A visit to an art gallery and then go for some fine wine and good food....simple pleasures !

I have been doing online Pilates with Sam for 2 years now and it is hard to explain the difference it has made to me, mentally and physically. I have previously tried Pilates a few times and it’s never made much sense until I started Sam’s classes. I have a better knowledge of my body than I ever have. I make sure I never miss Sam’s Pilates. It makes my running easier and basically makes me feel stronger and like everything is “back in its place”

I was apprehensive about joining online classes especially Pilates having had major abdominal, body changing surgery.
My concerns were unfounded. Sam's teaching is excellent, varied and all muscle groups get a work out. Her in depth knowledge of anatomy is impressive and I feel confident doing the moves under instruction but If I am struggling she always has an alternative.

Sam's online Pilates class is the best I've ever been to and I've tried a few. She is able to explain how movements should feel and that really helps me to visualise what is happening to my body. Her classes really help my back and core as I spend most of my day sitting at a desk. My posture has definitely improved and I feel so amazing after every session.
