Hey, I'm Dani! I'm currently in my second year studying geography at the University of Birmingham. When telling people that, I'm usually greeted with a marmite response, as in, 'poor you' or 'that's so interesting!', but I agree with the latter; believe it or not learning about the world and its processes can be really fun. I aim to progress into a career in planning or analysis once I graduate university, or likewise, conduct a masters degree in a chosen geographical field.
In my gap year, I worked as a full time online English tutor, helping teens who hadn't passed their English Language GCSE gain their qualification. It was a really enriching experience and I hope that carrying my knowledge of this will help you guys progress in your learning too!
I'm an open and communicative tutor who will always put your requests and learning first. Any base you want to cover, I will help you! Trust is an important factor when it comes to learning confusing and difficult concepts, and I hope to build this with you throughout the course of the sessions and reach the point where you can ace your subject! For me, being inquisitive and asking questions is always the best thing to do when you're unsure of something, so I will welcome as many as possible during our time together and hopefully you can develop a thorough knowledge of your subject area.
Specifically, I have knowledge in the AQA exam board for subjects, but am open to tutoring other exam boards.
I'm an international level athlete, competing in the sprint hurdles. This is my main hobby and has been for around the last 10 years! I'm very dedicated to the sport and completely understand the difficulty of maintaining high academic attainment and elite level sporting ability, however as I have proven (and many other individuals), it is possible to balance the two!
