Ten years of Italian teaching experience. Fifteen years of professional and personal growth in the social-educational sector (Theatrical Workshops Trainer, Teacher Assistant, Young Offenders Educator, Child Care Charity Volunteer), coaching people aged 4 to 99 years. I've learned to understand the educational needs of people of all ages, deciding to meet both the world of children, adults and elderly people keeping "an unripe ear"*. I recognize the dignity of complexity of people, seeking stimuli and responses, communicating on the same level of respect and listening, being ready to maintain respect of rules and roles.
*Title: A mature gentleman with an unripe ear
One day I saw a man with an unripe ear
get on the Capranica-Viterbo express.
He was not so young, nay matured,
everything except the ear, which had remained unripe.
I changed immediately place to approach him
and be able to observe the phenomenon pretty well.
"Sir, I said, you have a certain age now,
what do you do by that green ear?"
Kindly he replied: "You can say I am old.
the only young thing that stuck with me is this ear.
It's a child ear, I need to understand
things are never heard by adults:
I listen what trees, birds,
clouds that pass, rocks, streams say,
I also understand when kids say things
that a ripe ear seem mysterious ... "
That said the gentleman with an unripe ear
that day on Capranica-Viterbo express

Ettore has experience with teaching and managing courses. He is very committed and responsible and he has a passion for what he's doing.
Teaching Skills
Ettore has been teaching Italian at all levels (from beginners to advanced) at Oxford for several years, and his methods are very effective. He is very engaging and knows how to foster learning.
General
I've been knowing Ettore at Oxford, both as a friend and as a collaborator in running the language classes for the Oxford University Italian Society. He was key in the success of our programme and I thoroughly recommend him as a teacher.
Italian course for international professional wine taster
Here in France, I recently organized a face-to-face course with a professional multiligual wine taster (Spanish, French and English). The aim of the student was to enter in the Italian wine market. Considering her linguistic background, I had to set our lessons according to a very flexible approach, enhancing the similarities between the languages she knew and Italian, and filling the gaps left. I organized several wine and beer tastings, to enrich her technical dictionary, and stimulate her interest.
