One Family Plan that supports every child, every subject and every goal
LessonWise Family Plans give your family something no marketplace or agency can match: a single, expertly managed plan that wraps around your whole family – supporting one child preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, the IB or selective entry, a student balancing several subjects, or siblings needing support at different levels.
One plan. One point of contact. Complete support. Structured, predictable and stress-free, a Family Plan builds confidence, accelerates progress, and removes the mental load parents often carry alone. It gives you continuity, visibility, and expert guidance — so you can focus on being a parent, not a project manager.
When your child is struggling, the pressure doesn’t stay with them – it falls on you too.
Most parents tell us the same story: the worry of watching their child lose confidence, fall behind, or become overwhelmed. The pressure of motivating them through routines, distractions and exams. And the uncertainty of whether they’re making the right decisions for their future – from GCSE subjects to sixth form and university pathways.
A Family Plan absorbs that pressure. It provides the structure, expertise and consistency children need, while giving parents reassurance, clarity and space to breathe.

Before any Family Plan begins, every family moves through a simple, supportive onboarding journey. After an initial consultation to understand your goals, you enter a 30 day experience period that begins with a free Meet & Greet with each educator, followed by a fully paid month of lessons and an end of month assessment by subject.
This first month allows you to experience the plan in practice, understand your child’s progress, and confirm the educator fit. If at any point during this month the match doesn’t feel right, our 48 hour tutor guarantee ensures a swift replacement with no disruption.
It also serves as a cooling period – giving you the freedom to step away with no penalty if the plan isn’t right for your family.

Below are some of the questions we are often asked. If your question isn't listed, feel free to get in touch!
What kind of tutors does LessonWise offer?
LessonWise offers four levels of educators — Certified, Bronze, Silver, and Gold — each aligned to a specific Family Plan. Kickstart includes Certified Tutors, Core includes Bronze Tutors, Extended includes Silver Tutors, and Prestige includes Gold Tutors. These levels are determined by teaching experience, subject expertise, and exam readiness. Families can also choose to upgrade to a higher tutor level at any time for an additional uplift.
How many hours of tutoring are included in each plan?
Family Plans include a set number of annual lesson credits rather than fixed weekly hours. The number of hours your child receives will vary depending on the cadence of lessons recommended, the number of subjects being supported, and the length of your plan.
For example, the Kickstart Plan includes 60 lesson credits over 12 months (or 30 credits over 6 months) which typically supports a rhythm of 5 lessons per month. Other plans include higher credit allocations to accommodate multi subject support, multiple children, or more intensive academic goals.During your discovery call, we recommend the right cadence — and therefore the right number of hours — based on your family’s goals and timeline.
How do lesson credits work?
Lesson credits give your family the flexibility to adapt the learning pace throughout the year. Each plan comes with a set number of annual lesson credits, which you can use across subjects and even reallocate to another child if needed. Credits also roll over during your contracted plan — meaning you can pause for holidays or bring lessons forward for revision season without losing any value.
Will my monthly price change if the lesson cadence increases or decreases?
Your monthly price reflects the minimum agreed lesson cadence — this amount is paid each month, even if lessons are paused for holidays or temporary breaks. However, all lesson credits paid for during that period remain fully available for future use, so you never lose them when taking a break. If you temporarily need to increase the number of lessons during peak periods — such as mocks, GCSEs, A-levels, or selective entry preparation — your monthly fee will adjust accordingly for that period only.
Can we switch plans later if our needs change?
Absolutely. If your child’s goals evolve — or if another sibling needs support — you can upgrade your plan at any time. Your Account Manager will help you adjust the lesson cadence, tutor level and credit allocation accordingly. Downgrades are reviewed at renewal to ensure continuity of learning and tutor consistency.
How many subjects or children can a Family Plan support?
ach plan supports different levels of subject coverage and children — from focused, single child support to full household oversight. We recommend the right plan during your discovery call.
Do lessons take place 1:1?
Yes. All Family Plans include weekly 1:1 online lessons with a carefully matched, highly qualified educator.
What if the tutor isn’t the right fit?
Our 48 hour tutor guarantee ensures a swift replacement with no disruption.
Can we change the number of lessons later?
Yes. Lesson cadence can be increased during peak periods such as exam season, or rebalanced across subjects and siblings.
What happens at the end of the first month?
You receive a structured assessment by subject, and you may continue, adjust, or step away with no penalty if the plan isn’t right.
Are all lessons recorded?
Yes. Every lesson is securely recorded for safeguarding, continuity, and revision. How much does a Family Plan cost?
Plans start at £300/month, with the exact structure, lesson credits, length and tutor level tailored to your goals and timeline.
